In addition to high pointing we also having done several backpacking trips and some trips have been combined with high pointing. The following is a list of places we have backpacked.

• Manitese River— Our trip to Manitese River trail ran into some trouble. We drove to Kadilac MI and stayed, overnight with the plan to drive to the trail head and start backpacking early. However, the car did not cooperate, it wouldn't start, fortunately it was just the batteries and after about a ½ day of determining the problem we were on our way. The trail was easy and the river scenery was good. Recommend if you are near to Michigan and want an easy trial.
